- There will be 4 types of governments Monarchy, Oligarchy, Tyrannism, and Democracy I will also tell you what government would be the best
- Hi there I am Apollo and I will be telling you about what the life of a greek person would be like under different governments
- First off we had Monarchy where 1 person ruled and there was a king or queen when they died there oldest child would be declared king or queen the best example of this is present day in the United Kingdom
- Next up we have oligarchy where usually a group of people have all the power and they decide what is best for the economy
- And this is Tyranny basically one guy has all the power and there is no one to stop them the only way you can get the power is by killing the one in power but the person often needs the peoples affection so they often repaid there debts or gave them money to get there approval
- And then there is Democracy where the people vote for who has the power and when they make big decisions the people vote about that to the person that has the power is called a presidents and there are many other people with power that have to approve laws that the president wants to make so he does not control everything
- the best one for the people though is democracy because the people get to make the decisions and all the other governments have a high chance of having very cruel leaders
