At the beginning of the book, Danny gets sent to a camp called the Right Way. Here he sees his camp director who tells him who his roommate is. His roommate turns out to be a short kid from Connecticut, who is supposedly good. The camp director who told him the news about his roommate is a former college player and Right Way founder. Danny is the main character who has played basketball forever and loved the camp.

In this scene Rasheed is called the best at "Right Way" and Danny is furious. He feels as though he is overlooked, and deserves to have that title. He had beaten Rasheed before and knew he could do it again. Rasheed was Danny's nemesis.
Lesson
I worked hard and overcame my greediness which helped me win.
In this scene, Danny gets hurt and has to go to the Nurse. He hurt his leg playing basketball and was in a lot of pain. He was so relieved that he could play the next day.
In this scene, Danny wins the game for his team by 1 point. In this, he beat Rasheed and got what he deserved. Celtics had beat the Lakers and were the new champions of Right Way! Danny was on top of the world.
In this scene, Danny learns the lesson that as long as you don't get greedy and try your hardest, you can do anything. In the story Danny was jealous of Rasheed but overcame it and used his jealousy to win.
