Tuck Everlasting By Natalie Babbitt By Allison Mortimer
Winnie meets a toad and tells the toad how she wants to runaway. Then she meets the man in the yellow suit. Next Winnie " runsaway" from home and ends up getting kidnapped by strange people in "her" woods who she did not know.
Then Mae, Jesse and Miles took Winnie to there house and Tuck took Winnie out on to the lake to talk about the idea of being stuck on the top a fairsweele and never dying, not getting older, watching everyone you knew go and worst of all you could not stop it from happening.
When Winnie and Tuck were done talking they went in side and had dinner. Then Mae gave Winnie sum other clothes to ware to bed and told her good night so did Tuck and Miles. Then Jesse came up a little later and handed her a bottle of water from the spring so she could drink it when she was 17 like him.
In the morning Winnie went down stairs then the man in the yellow suit came in and tried to take Winnie but Mae did not let him and she hit him with the back of the shot gun. He fell like a tree and the Constable was riding around the corner. Mae ended up going to jail. They also knew something bad if the constable found out that Mae could not die, so Winnie ended taking Mae place in jail.
The theme is of Tuck Everlasting You can not make a difference if you sit there and do nothing as the world changes. Winnie pours the water from the spring onto the toad so he would not get hurt. Also Winnie ends up getting married and having children and dying.
