- This event is when the Angel Gabriel was sent down by God himself and this connects us to Mary through humility and willingness since she was also more than willingly to take up the offer from God.
- The Annunciation
- The Visitation
- Now the second event in the joyful mysteries is called the Visitation where Mary visits her sister Elisabeth who is also pregnant and their two children meet each other. Through this event Mary can help us connect with others through the graces to be charitable towards my neighbor at home, at work and even at the store
- Birth of Jesus
- This is now the 3rd event in the Joyful mysteries and the start of Mary and Joseph journey including Jesus. This occurrence/event can help us connect to/through Jesus, through his message of peace and love.
- The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple
- Now the 4th event that is/has occurred in the temple is Every male child must be taken to the temple and an animal must be offered as a sacrifice. While this 4th event occurring we can be accepted through Jesus to embrace my duties and fulfill them faithfully.
- The finding of Jesus in the Temple
- The last and final event that is/has been occurring/occurred/happened in the Joyful Mysteries. What happened here is that the twelve year old Jesus remains behind in Jerusalem. Mary and Joseph don't know this however. From this occurrence we can be connected to Jesus through/by showing knowledge and peace
- Meditating on the Joyful Mysteries
- The importance of meditating on the Joyful mysteries mostly on Mondays is because we can connect either to Mary or Jesus through these traits such as faith, peace, love and more.
