- First stop the temples where the sacrifices happen
- We are going to explore the aztecs culture!
- Where are we going?
- These are called canals
- Here people are getting sacrificed because they broke the law or did something bad
- Wow that is scary! That is a lot of blood!
- Ew! Is that a snake?!
- Here we are viewing an eagle perched on a cactus holding a snake. This is what they tell their commoners to look for.
- This is where they sell things like corn, jade knives, skirts, and head wear.
- They pay with cacao beans!
- What do they pay with? They don't have money.
- What are those?
- Yea! This is where they grow all of their corn.
- Wow look at all that corn!
- wow! Are they on an island?
- They are on a garden where they grow crops but they are on water. They are called chinampas.
