- melanoma is the fastest growing cancer in the U.S. and worldwide
- Basal cell carcinoma can look like a white waxy lump or a brown scaly patch
- Squamous cell carcinoma can actually grow inside the mouth! thats so interesting right?
- Merkel cell cancer is usually more common in old people. the skin can turn purple, blue or red with this cancer.
- its very important to take care of your skin. some precautions are: Don't get sunburned. Avoid tanning, and never use UV tanning beds.Cover up with clothing, including a broad-brimmed hat and UV-blocking sunglasses.Use a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher every day.
