My Insight into College PT3
Storyboard Text
- School online was very different than in person because there was no commute and I was able to be home and in my own comfortable space.
- The virtual class itself went much better than expected. During the course we learned how to use photoshop, did a short lesson, and then the professor would explain the assignment that we were to do. Once we were given an assignment we all turned off our cameras and microphones and started the assignment.
- When we finished, we were to unmute and share our screen and the professor would give us constructive criticism on our work.

- In the first class, we chose 2 words opposite each other, like up and down, and tried to use typography to interpret them in sketch form. We then brought the sketches to life on photoshop. Once our designs were complete we added images to them, and then presented them to the class.
- TA DA!!
- The final projects we did were to create a flyer for anything we wanted and to pick a book cover or movie poster and redesign it. I especially loved these two projects so much that they are one of the big reasons I chose to major in graphic design.
- This is so fun!
- Although there were many different positives and negatives during my time at FIT, the experience was still valuable because it gave me a taste of college life and independence. In addition, it gave me helpful information which helped me to make decisions about my future.
