- Exposition - Bogart was a man who rarely ever spoke and therefore told no stories but everyone assumed that he was smart. He was always playing a card game named Patience and pretended to become a tailor.

- Rising action - and then Bogart left for little over 2 months without telling anyone why or where he went
- When Bogart had returned to Miguel Street he his accent was more American and explained that he went to British Guyana to run a brothel. He became the most feared man on the street and shouted rude remarks at girls walking alone on the street.
- He then left again, this time he left for 4 months and he had grown fatter, more aggressive and his actions were more American.

Then Sergeant Charles then arrested Bogart without explaining. Falling action - the reason Hat then explained that Bogart was married to 2 different women at the same time. That is the end of Bogarts story
