  • The Myth of Demeter and Persephone By: Kendra Jackson
  • CRACK!!
  • Persephone is playing alone in a beautiful flower field.
  • The ground cracks open and Hades comes out in a chariot. Hades captured Persephone and forced her to be his wife.
  • POP
  • CRACKLE
  • Persephone is gone for months, Demeter starts to get sad and forgets to grow things.
  • Demeter tells Zeus about how Persephone is missing and she believes that Hades has captured her.
  • While Persephone is in the underworld she eats a few pomegranate seeds. For each seed she eats that how many months she has to go back to the underworld with Hades.
  • Persephone is with her mother and it is almost time for her to go back to the underworld. For that reason Demeter is starting to become sad.
