  • Icarus go gather as many wings as you can from the shore and come back

  • Daedalus called to Icarus to help him escape the tower he got put into.  " He called his son, Icarus, to him and told the boy to gather up all the feathers he could find on the rocky shore." Lines 13-14
  • Falling action
  • Daedalus and Icarus have escaped and are now flying.  " Daedalus's eyes filled with tears, and turning away, he soared into the sky, calling to Icarus to follow." Lines 52-54
  • resolution
  • Icarus felt a sense of freedom and flapped his wings rapidly leading him to the sun. "Icarus felt a sense of freedom and and flapped his wings rapidly leading him to the sun." Lines 68-70

  • Icarus flew too high and the heat melted the wax holding the wings together. "Icarus did not notice the feathers falling until the sun became so hot the largest feathers dropped off and he began to fall." Lines 73-75
