Storyboard Text

  • Alexis, me and my other classmates were taking a trip to the library before lunch to pick out new books. Since it's almost lunch I was feeling hungry, but also excited to go outside for recess. I was thinking about what Alexis and I are going to do for recess. Since There are new playground stuff to use
  • HI! It's almost lunch time, so we better get going soon.
  • Oh My Gosh, Hi Alexis. I was wondering where you were.
  • Alexis, my classmates and I went to lunch after we were done at the library, and let me tell you, we were excited to go outside. We finally got our lunch, so we sat down and ate. I was still thinking about what me and Lexi are going to do outside.
  • I'm going to the lunch line, come on!!
  • Alexis!!!! WAiT UP!!!!!!!!!
  • Well as you can see, I hurt myself really bad. I was feeling so scared because I didn't know if it was broken or not. I was thinking of how if it were broken, I wouldn't be able to play basketball!
  • OH NO!!! Reagan!!!!!
  • wahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Lexi get an aid please, wahhhhhh!!!
  • OH NO!!! What happened, honey?
  • I finally got home and I told my parents what happened. A little afterwards my mom told me we have to go to the ER. I was feeling so nervous, i was scared. I was thinking so much on how I migh not be able to play basketball.
  • I was playing outside with Lexi and i fell so hard, and I think my wrist is broken.
  • So I found out it's broken, I was crying for days because I couln'td play basketball for 4 weeks in a row. I was feeling disappointed in myself, I will explain why later. I was thinking how rusty will I be in four weeks when I can play basketball.
  • Yes, Honey. It's broken.
  • Mommy, is it broken?
  • Since I've broken my arm, I have learned to be consistant with my surroundings and pay attention to what I'm doing. I had to stop playing basketball for 4 weeks exactly, I was bored out of my mind. Lexi came over sometimes and we would play games together as best as we could. We played board games, hide and seek, but my mom always told me to take it easy so I don't make it any worse. At night couldn't even lay on it, it hurt soo bad to where I have to lay on my back, and I cannot lay on my back. So now I am always gonna make safety a priority because you never know how fast you how fast you can get
