- this is how secondary succession occors
- a natural disturbace like a fire takes place and destroys most of the ecosystem
- after the forest is done burning there is nothing  much left other then soil and very few plants
- after the ecosystem starts to regrow the grass and other small species will come back
- when most of the plants are back there will be some change and it wont look the same because new species enhabit the land
- then animals will start to come back and that will be the climax of the community
