- When everything went wrong!
- Stalking!
- The old man scare!
- who's there?
- There was this old man that had a MAD butler. The butler didn't think of himself as mad & neither did the old man. The butler hated the old man's eye. So one night he conceived a plan to KILL the old man. "I made up my mind to take the life of the old man."
- Worktime
- After the butler conceived his plan. He always went to see the old man's eye but it was never open. So every night, 7 days a week he went and stealthily went in to the old man's room. "every night about mid night, I turned the latch of his door and opened it--oh so gently."
- Covering the tracks!!
- Upon the eight night the butler was cautious. He opened up the door but his finger slipped and he woke the old man. The old man was scared so he stayed up the whole night. "when my thumb slipped upon the tin fastening, & the old man sprang up."
- Going Insane!
- what in the world???
- The old man made one terror groan & 1 shriek. After that the butler let a little bit of light from the lantern and he saw the eye that made him want to kill the old man even more. The butler dragged the old man down and suffocated him. "In an instant I dragged him to the floor and pulled the heavy bed over him."
- After the old man became deceased, the butler chopped the old man's body up into PIECES! He drained his blood in the tub so the body wouldn't smell and then put his pieces of the body under the hardwood floor. "A tub had caught all--ha ha!"
- Last, the police were called because, the neighbors heard a shriek. The butler had nothing to fear when the police came into the house. So when the police sat down & drank, the butler grew angry. He thought that he heard the old man's heartbeat so he told the police what he had done. " I admit the deed!--tear up the planks! here, here!--It is the beating of his hideous heart.
