- This is Janelle. Her only friend is Marissa, and they have an odd relationship. Janelle really likes being mean, nasty and hates everyone. Everyone besides Marissa, but Janella still finds Marissa annoying.
- Janelle always loses to Marissa and Janelle hates that. If Janelle wins at least once, she will hold it over Marissa's head for the rest of her life, making sure Marissa never forgets. Janelle's turtle's name is Super Mega Death Turtle.
- The turtles usually choose the course because their owners are not very good at training them for racing. Usually, wherever Janelle sits down is where the finish line is, and Marissa happily follows.
- Yo Marissa, I've come to destroy you in turtle racing this time!
- This is Marissa. She's an optimistic airhead. She likes Janelle and thinks Janelle is quirky and funny. No one talks to Marissa like Janelle does, so she enjoys Janelle's company.
- Marissa likes turtle racing! Janelle invented it when they went turtle scavenger hunting. Janelle found a beat up, old looking turtle and Marissa found a nice, polished-looking turtle. Janelle wanted to show that her turtle was better, so she has made her turtle race for the past 101 days. And Super Mega Death Turtle has lost. Every single time.
- Okay! Give me one second Janelle, I need to find my James.
- Janelle does not really own a turtle. She owns more of a tank than a turtle. Marissa does not mind though, she likes how Janelle hangs out with her every day.

- The turtle often visit the neighbors pool. They like too cool off instead of the kitty pool Marissa owns. It is too tiny for Super Mega Death Turtle to fit in.
- James has successfully climbed a tree and beat Super Mega Death turtle in their 102 race. Super Mega Death Turtle is hanging on for dear life,
