Daedalus and Icarus from high tower that King Minos had shut them up in because the labyrinth was escapable
Since they are now prisoners on the Island and can't leave by boat, Daedalus collected some featherd and put them together with wax to make wings
Before Icarus and Daedalus made their practice flight, Daedalus told Icarus "Keep at a Moderate height, for if you fly to low, the fog and spray will clog your wings, and if you fly to high the heat will melt the wax that holds them together"
As they were flying, plowmen stopped working and shepherds looked into the sky thinking to themselves that Icarus and Daedalus were Gods.
All of a sudden, Icarus was so excited beacuse he felt like he was a god, so he flew to high and the sun melted the wax in his wings. That resulted in all the feathers falling off and Icarus falling. Sadly he died.
After Icarus passed away, Daedalus buried him and named the land Icaria in his memory
