Hi, my name is Saksham Jakhar, and I am with my teacher Miss. Isha and today we are going to explore the digestive system.
HI
I am going to put him in the mouth
We are starting with the mouth which is the first place of digestion. In mouth the food is chewed into smaller pieces, then it travels to oesophagus with help of saliva and tongue.
It is a thin tube-like structure which transfers the chewed food to stomach in a wave like pattern.
Ahhhhhhhh
He He He
Wait now let me try, Did you know that in an average size of an adult´s stomach the stomach can fit 2 liters of fluid or solid.
After getting myself out of the oesophagus we are now at the stomach which contains HCL that break the food down into Chyme.
Now we are at the small and large intestine. The job of the small intestine is to digest the food and absorb it by smallfinger like structures, villi.
After the Chyme goes through the small intestine it goes to the large intestine. The job of the large intestine is to absorbs and the leftover water and salts and then it transfers it to the rectum and is excreted by anus in the form of faeces.
We are back at the classroom now after our long adventure through the digestive system. We had so much fun!
Yeah obviously
EWWWWW
Does that mean after the digestive system has happened we have to use the bathroom!
