- Nag and Nagaina meet Rikki-tikki and say a few frightful words, before running away into the grass. They do not want to waste their time on a silly mongoose.
- Behind you! Look behind you!

- Nag
- Wicked, wicked Darzee!
- Nag and Nagaina come up with a plan to protect their eggs and themselves against Rikki-tikki, after deciding he is dangerous.
- We must do something about that mongoose or he'll ruin everything!
- Karait is dead!! The brave Rikki-tikki has killed him
- Nagaina
- Yes, we must protect our future children and this garden from the cruel Rikki-tikki.
- Nag
- Nag is dead! The brave Rikki-tikki has struck again
- Nagaina mourns Nag's death.
- Flashback from Nagaina's childhood. Mongooses killed her mother and father. The birds and frogs saw everything, but no one cared to stop the fight because they were cobras.
- Silly Cobra! You are weak and useless! HAHAHA
- You are a worthless cobra! You will never be important!
- Your mother and father would not be proud! HAHAHA
- Rikki-tikki destroys all of Nagaina's eggs.
- Rikki-tikki kills Nagaina and continues on his life tormenting snakes that pass through the garden.
