  • After the Holocaust, Jews wanted to have a country/ state of their own. The UN proposed to the Jews that they would live in  Israel and Arab
  • The Arabian people were enraged about losing land. This led to the Arab Israel war from 1948-1949. This was won by the Israeli side. which led to the Palestinian people being rushed off their land into refugee camps
  • The Six Days War of 1967 led Israel to possess all land in the Israeli region, including Palestinian areas called the Gaza Strip and West Bank.Israel solved issues with other neighboring nations, but Palestine was still angry.
