- I think I'm going to turn myself in...
- What?!
- I'm just worried Jail will change you, Johnny.
- The church is burning, and it's our fault!
- GET BACK HERE!
- Ponyboy , Johnny, and Dally are at a Dairy queen getting breakfast, when Johnny announces he's going to turn himself in. Dally seems to get mad at him.
- WHOO WEE WHOO!
- Dally, Johnny, and Ponyboy are in the car heading home to turn Johnny in. Dallas seems mad the entire car ride, but soon reveals he's just worried that Johnny will be different in jail, which is something unfathomable for Ponyboy.
- WEE WHOO WEE WHOOO!
- Johnny and Ponyboy see the old church burning. Dally tells the boys not to go in the church, but after hearing there's burning children in the church, they run in to save them.
- Ponyboy and Johnny get the children out from the church, but the church starts collapsing. Ponyboy is pulled outside by Dally, but Johnny isn't as lucky. The fire was roaring. After that, Ponyboy faints.
- Ponyboy wakes up in an ambulance and discovers Dally saved him. He also discovers that the doctors aren't sure if Dally and Ponyboy will be okay.
- When Ponyboy reaches the hospital, he finds that Darry and Soda have came to visit him. They all have a reunion, in which Ponyboy apologizes to Darry, and despite how aloof Darry tries to act sometimes, Darry starts to cry.
