- its so sunny outside what are you doing out of the water? don't you know about the water cycle? the sun is already starting to evaporate you into water vapor gas!
- what's gonna happen to me!?what's a water cycle?
- don't freak out! its all a part of the water cycle. we have now evaporated due to the suns heat and condensed into big clouds in the sky, soon enough we'll become droplets again!
- its so hot! where are we? why am i a weird fluffy shape??
- after condensation comes precipitation. after being clouds we have formed back into water droplets. I'm not sure where we are headed to but well find out soon enough
- just like you said! were back to being droplets again, but how? where are we falling to?
- this isn't the ocean. it seems we are in a river. do you hear that noise in the water? I think I might have idea on where we are headed to next.
- oh hey look we're back in the ocean!
- where is this stream taking us to?
- we landed in the river from the precipitation and most of the precipitation that lands in the river runs off the land downhill into and oceans so safe to say we are headed back home! though sometimes some of the runoff that flows over the land gets soaked up into the ground "recharging" groundwater. aquifers in the ground are recharged by water infiltrating the surface. this provides plants with water for their roots in order to grow. some of the water that gets soaked up by plant roots and leaves is returned to the air by transpiration
- hey look we're back home! well that was an adventure, i can't wait to do that again
- no need to worry you'll be going on a lot of adventures from now on! the water cycle is a never ending cycle. today we went through evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.
