- Napoleon made himself Emperor. He had control of the whole country, the military and is seen as a threat by other countries.

- Napoleon was power hungry. He tried to take over most of Europe. Europe did not like that, so they fought back, making a lot of alliances.

- Under the rule of Napoleon, slavery was reinstated. They were originally free in 1794
- King Louis the 18th
- The Napoleonic Code revoked women's right, after all they did to be on equal footing during the French Revolution. Some of the other things said in the Napoleonic Code is that parents have complete control of their children, and no one has special privileges anymore.
- Napoleon was soon exiled to Elba after losing to the Russian winter, countries against France forced him to abdicate a congress was formed in place.
- Louis the 18th was made king by the congress of Vienna , but had little to no power at all
