- We are here to colonize this land!
- Spain comes to colonize Spanish American land.
- WHAT?!?!?!
- 1810-1848
- We signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo!
- But you really aren't!
- During the Mexican American war a peace treaty known as The Treaty Of Guadalupe Hidalgo was signed, however the U.S. was breaking treating stealing more land. Citizens were not happy.
- We are doing everything on there as promised
- You're doing nothing! Our lands are still being taken from us!
- 1849-1910
- Hey we're all liking it here!
- During the Algo-American assimilation many Southwest Mexican Americans were becoming overwhelmed with the amount of new comers.
- Its getting to populated here the more people come! We don'tknow what to do!
- After that man began to migrate to the U.S. seeking better opportunities for their life, lasting until the Great Depression.
- 1910-1939
- Onward to the U.S.!
- Come on everyone! We must keep moving!
- 1940s-Present Day
- WE ARE ALL EQUAL AND DIVERSE!
- Many Mexican Americans and other cultures now live equality among diverse filled cities. Sharing the same problems, and having the same life opportunities.
