Storyboard Text

  • Odysseus and his men want to get past the siren's island. To do this, Odysseus takes Crice's words into accountability. Odysseus puts beeswax into his men's ears, so they cannot hear - be he can. He also instructs them to tie him up upon the ship, and not to let him go.
  • "Therefore you are to tie me up, tight as a splint..."
  • Soon enough, him and his men came upon the two sirens. They sang their song, and Odysseus of course deamanded to be let go. They continued to row past the pair. The crew thought they were safe, so they took the wax off and set Odysseus free.
  • Everything was sailing smoothly until they encountered a whirlpool. This of course, freak the men out because they no longer had wax in their ears. The ship went astray.
  • Odysseus convinced them to continue to steer. But they were going to the direction of the sirens, specifically Scylla. He didn't tell them anything for he knew it would scare them... and that their fate was already decided.
  • "... have we never been in danger before this?"
  • They continuned to sail, and Scylla proceeded to devour six of the men. Odysseus and them watched the six be brutalized.
  • They had to row on. Leaving Scylla and the thought of the 6 six behind.
