  • Dad's Home!
  • YAYYYYY!
  • Kids, we are going home!
  • God save us from all danger and evil!
  • My dad had come home from out of state and my siblings and I rejoiced. My mom and aunt were so excited to have my father back home after many weeks of him being gone for business. We had celebrated his return by making his favorite breakfast meal. Once we ate my father took my siblings and I to school.
  • What happened to my face!!!!!!
  • It's okay , the car accident did this to you.
  • During class the speaker turned on and it said, "Sana, Samar, and Aayan Noorani, please come to the office." So we went to the office and I honestly thought that we had all got in trouble at school. We all go to the office and we see my mother there. She tells us, "We are going home." We then sat down in the car and we see that my aunt and our other sibling is in the car and I ask, "Where are we going?" "We are going to the salon." My aunt replied.
  • Sana, Naseeb, it's so good to see you, oh my god my poor baby, I can't believe this happened to you.
  • It's okay I am a tiger, I can face anything!
  • Finally we are home!
  • We were driving in the car, listening to music and relaxing as much as possible. My siblings and I were gossiping and telling jokes like any child would. We were on a highway in Livermore CA and while we were going down, someone was going up on the same lane. The other driver was drunk and high. Everyone in the car was fearful of their life. We all were shook. The car hit us and everything went dark.
  • YAY!!!! I miss home!
  • I woke up in the hospital and I see that my dad is there and then I look in the mirror and I see a huge cast on my forehead. I was scared of my face not looking the same. My dad told me the whole story and I was so scared for my mom when I heard that she had been hurt miserably. I looked at the world differently after that day, I had been receiving presents day and night by many friends and relatives, I was eating only restaurant food. I missed my mother's cooking. I
  • I waited two weeks to be able to see my mom. My mom was in an adult hospital while I was in a specific children's hospital. The doctors removed the cast off of my face and I was frightened by my own reflection. I got out of the hospital with my father and brother. My cousins/siblings were with their father. I saw my mother and we were both in tears. But we were happy to have made it out of that traumatic experience alive.
  • My mom and I were finally out of the hospital but we both came out much more different, both physically and mentally. My dad drove us home and I was so thankful to be home. I never wanted to leave again. My heart felt as if it was at peace. I was grateful to be alive much more than ever. This experience shaped me into the woman that some know. I wouldn't have anything be done differently/
