  • Malcom and Donalbain, the king's two sons Are stol'n away and fled, which puts upon them Suspicion of the deed

  • Donalbain tries to convince Malcom to go away to Ireland before problems arise within the people they are close to, especially their relatives.

  • Macduff explains to Ross that both of the king's sons have disappeared and could possibly be the ones who killed their father.

  • Ross asks Macduff if he plans on going to Scone, where the king's body is being put. Macduff says no but Ross declares that he will.
  • The old man wishes Ross the best of luck and that he is cautious of who he's around.
