- This is Mary, Ava's Mom. Ava loves her Mom very much but thinks she is a boring boomer, living in a colorless world.24/7/365 making lunches, picking us up from school, doing housework. Rinse repeat. The thing that surprised Ava the most is that her Mom seemed to still be happy...content.
- One Saturday, Ava asked her Mom to lunch. Mary immediately smiled and happily accepted the invitation.
- Mom, this is my favorite spot - great for people watching
- This spot is lovely, Ava.
- OH NO, MOM! I THINK THE BODEGA IS GETTING ROBBED!, said Ava.
- Just as Ava and her Mom sat down at their table, a suspicious looking guy was coming out of the Bodega.
- Hee-Hee-Hee. I'm outta here!
- What happened next was COMPLETELY out of this world!
- OH NO YOU DON'T! YOU WILL NOT DISRUPT LUNCH WITH MY AVA OR STEAL FROM THESE GOOD PEOPLE!
- After that day, Ava never saw her Mom in the same way. While she still did all the Mom things, she had more swagger now. Bye, Bye, Boomer!
