- Many can't go there, sir they'd rather die.
- Scene 1 Scrooge's Office
- They should just die to decrease the surplus population!
- Scene 2 Scrooge Returns Home
- I do not choose to be.
- 3 spirits will visit you tonight Scrooge.
- Scene 3 The First Spirit (Spirit of Christmas Past)
- Leave me then! I have already done them.
- You can't fix your mistakes now. I am your mistakes.
- Scrooge declines Fred's invitation to his dinner. The gentlemen visitor asks for money for the poor house to help the homeless people there. Cratchit asks Scrooge for the day off, and Scrooge hesitantly gives Cratchit the day off.
- Scene 4 The Second Spirit (Spirit of Christmas Present)
- When you wake, you shall have all the pretty little horses....
- The charwoman, the cook, and Sparsit hold out their hands for money, but scrooge gives them nothing and tells them to get out. When he goes to bed, a ghost of Marley appears. He tells Scrooge that he would be visited by 3 spirits.
- Scene 5 The Third Spirit (Spirit of Christmas Yet To Come)
- When that day does come- as it must- we must none forget poor Tiny Tim and this first parting in our family.
- The big one sir, yes it is.
- The 1st spirit, the spirit of Christmas past appears first. He shows Scrooge his Christmas past when he was a young boy and how and how he stayed at the school when he was a child. The spirit also tells Scrooge about his mistakes and tells him that he can't fix them.
- Scene 6 Scrooge Buys a Turkey for the Cratchit's
- Is the prize turkey still there, boy?
- The second spirit arrives next and the spirit reminds Scrooge of Fezzywig. He shows him the Christmas present at the Cratchit's house. It shows that Tiny Tim is very sick. The spirit puts Scrooge's words in his own face and tells him that Tiny Tim should die to decrease the surplus population.
- The 3rd and final spirit arrives last. The Charwoman, Sparsit, and the Cook are taking scrooge's belongings. The spirit then takes Scrooge to the Christmas yet to come. The spirit takes Scrooge to the Cratchit's house and shows Scrooge that Tiny Tim has died of illness.
- Scrooge finds a boy on the streets and asks him if the big prize turkey is still at the shop. The boy says that the turkey is still there and Scrooge asks him to go the turkey and bring it back to him. Scrooge then goes to the Cratchit's and gives them the turkey.
