- The king is wanting someone brave, powerful, determined, courageous, an heroic to come and defeat Grendel.
- Beowulf kills Grendel and rips off
- Beowulf comes back to get revenge on Grendel's mother and kills her too.
- Beowulf becomes king.
- 50 years later after he battles Grendel's mother, Beowulf has to fight a dragon. Beowulf receives help from one of his men to defeat the dragon.
- They defeat the dragon but during the battle Beowulf got severely wounded and ends up dying. He is buried by the sea.
