Back in the 1600's there was once a boy named Timmy who lived on a farm with his father. He was an only child who loved the wilderness. However some have said their family was cursed by stupidity.
Climax
As when it came time for Timmy to start growing up and begin working on the farm, he gained a notorious knack for always getting hurt. Day in and day out Timmy would get banged, bucked, scraped, bruised, and cut. The constant expenses and trips to the doctor drove his father furious.
Falling Action
Then one day Timmy tripped on the animal pens, breaking the fence and releasing them all onto the farm. His father snapped "That's it, I want you off the farm! Go find someone else's money to waste!". Timmy not knowing what to do, went to the only place that accepted him, the wilderness. That night there was an unexpected snow storm and Timmy hatched a revenge plan.
Resolution
Have you heard that one about the farm and the snowball?
He planned to roll a snowball down the large hill next to the farmhouse into his father when he left the next morning. But when it came time and the snowball was released it picked up more speed and snow than Timmy expected. It got so big that by the time it reached the farmhouse they were the same size, it just missed his father but demolished the entire house!
When news got around to the nearby town of what had taken place on the farm and especially what had happened to the farmhouse Timmy and his father were the butt of every joke. Anywhere they went they got ridiculed for being so stupid and letting things get such out of hand.
Eventually Timmy and his father parted ways and each moved on to distant lands but their story only gained more and more traction thus coining the term "snowball effect".
