After leaving the Cyclops, Odysseus and his men sail to Aeolus, ruler of winds. He gives a bag of winds to Odysseus to guide him back home.
This bag contains winds, it will direct you and your men home.
Odysseus's crew tore open the wind bag because they thought Aeolus gave Odysseus treasure. Once the bag opened a huge storm started and brought them back to Aeolus. Odysseus asked Aeolus for another bag but Aeolus said no and felt confident that all the other gods wanted to harm him.
What happened? Why is there a storm?
Um.... we ripped open the wind bag.
Odysseus and his men sail to Laestrygonians and there queen takes Odysseus's spies as dinner. Odysseus and his men quickly run back to the boats and all the boats have boulders on them besides Odysseus's boat.
Odysseus and men sail to Aeaea home of Circe, beautiful witch goddess. Circe changes Odysseus's men to pigs.
Hermes comes to Odysseus in the form of a young boy, and tells him to eat a herb named moly to protect yourself from Circe drug.

Odysseus listens to Hermes and eats the herb. He is able to overtake Circe and makes her change his men back. They end up staying there for a year until his men convince him to come home; and they continue there voyage home.
Change my men back now. I am not effected from your drug.
