One day King Henry IV decided he wanted more power. So he decided to make a meeting between him and the pope.
King Henry are you fooling around. I believe I pick the best officials.
Pope Gregory I believe should have your authority of choosing your advisors and officials. I Have disapproved of your last official you picked, your Bishop.
I disagree. Since you believe that I believe that I believe my next choice is the correct one.
You gotta be kidding me I am the King I believe I should choose your advisers and officials.
I am casting you out from the church. Meeting over.

After the meeting King Henry asked Pope Gregory for forgiveness. He waited in the cold harsh snow outside of Pope Gregory’s for 3 days for his apology
