- We will give you our county for 15 million dollars if you want it

- this place is beautiful. There is a lot of animals.
- It is very beautiful the animals seem to be thriving
- Zebulon Pike
- This place is like a desert there is no way anything could possibly grow here
- Thomas Jefferson wanted to expand the united states so the louisiana Purchase happened and they were only selling for 15 million dollars so America took the deal and now owned what would be kansas.
- Stephen Long
- people did not know what was in Kansas so they sent people to go explore it to see if it was a good place for people to live.
- Jackson's Speech to Congress
- They sent another person because still not all of kansas had been discovered so Zebulon Pike decided to come in from the west.
- Indian Removal Act
- Go away.
- People still were not completely sure if it was safe to let people live in kansas so they one more person to explore kansas to see what it is like and if anything could grow there.
- I do not think anything could grow here. I wonder if this land could be cultivated.
- President Andrew Jackson made a speech about the American Indians.and how people want them to leave.
- We want the American Indians to leave this country.
- The Americans were tired of the American Indian so they sent people to move them somewhere else so they wouldn't have deal with them.
