- Here we see John, and Mary. Mary and John have been working in this shop for a week now. The war gave them the opportunity for work, and they took it.
- This is John's family. His wife, Wendy is preparing their rations. His daughter, Rosie is extremely sick with the flu, and his youngest son, William, is barely 10.
- This is Theodore. He used to be in charge of this store, until he got drafted... He's only about 20 years old.
- Sir, unfortunately you have been drafted for the US Army... I have a letter for you that will give you all the information you need. I wish you luck.
- John and Mary however, are struggling to get enough food for their families... The rations are so small that they barely eat enough to keep themselves alive...
- WAR!
- This is Mary's family. Her husband was drafted into the war, and was killed in battle... She is left with her two kids, Joseph and Betty.
- That'll be 50 ration points and 4 dollars!
- Mary has been saving up her ration points and money to get a bigger dinner for her family, she barely had enough. She's glad that she is fortunate enough to have the money to buy the things she needs.
- The end... for now :)
