- Gallaudet on his way to England to go to the School of the Deaf. (Inside the boat)
- Yes, i hope you have safe travels
- I'm very proud of what you are doing and hope it continues when i return to France
- Gallaudet watching people teach the deaf children to speak instead of signing
- Meets Laurent Clerc and asks him to accompany him back to America to teach. Laurent's friend did not like that and thought he was betraying his country.
- ASL LESSON 1-
- The first Deaf school/Asylum opens in 1817. Laurent and Thomas go on teaching teachers to help students get an education. 3 years later Laurent goes back to France.
- 13 years later Gallaudet is married to a deaf woman and they have multiple kids. None of them wanting to do the family business. There last son Eddie wants to work in Business school. So he goes.
- In 1885 Eddie was done with business. He wanted to do something else. He decided to start working as a teacher at the deaf school his Father and Laurent made.
