- The Oregon Trail
- To get across these mountains we need to leave stuff behind
- I agree, but we should set up camp tonight  and use most of our supplies
- Manifest destiney
- Our goverment is the most superiour tp others
- yes, we need to spread across america and westward.
- The Mountain men were great in the fur trapping buisness. They built trails and settlements in the oregon country and helped guide  people through oregon and often didn't live the  longest life.
- Mexican-American War
- This is now american territory!
- The oregon trail is a 2000 mile trail westward towards oregon. This trail consists of a lot of dangerous  things to overcome.  The wildlife, terrain, and supplies were some of the things you had to be prepared for if you wanted to go through the oregon trail. Often times supplies would have to be left behing to traverse through the harsh terrain
- Mormons In Utah
- People beleive that americas goverment was superior than other peopkes and that it was gods plan to move westward and make it better. Their goal was to spread across america.
- California Gold Rush
- Theres gold down there!
- The americans wanted to annex  texas and they did.  So americ and mexico had a full 20 mont war over the place and eventualy america had control  of texas. The borders expanded and we had gained california,  New mexico and arizona.
- They got us
- The Mormons are very religious people sent by an angle to this location. The location is the salt lakes in utah most people didnt like it but in the end they did and had to endure the  enviroment. They were the first people to settle on the great basin.
- We settle here
- Someone found some gold in the river in calafornia. The word spread and thousands of people went to california. A few people got rich most didnt but in the end  Most people decided to settle in calafornia to make it a state
