- his army, made up of almost 90,000 poor farmers and civilians was deafted by well trained Spanish troops and Hidalgo was taken to prison by the Spanish and they executed him.

- On September 16, 1810, father Miguel Hidalgo y costilla delivered a speech know as the grito de Dolores (“cry of/from Dolores”) at his church.

- After a crushing defeated at the battle of Calderon bridge. Hidalgo fled north hoping to escape in the United States. He was later found/caught and was taken to prison on March 21 and was executed.
- Mexican fought for there freedom and on September 27 that day is when the final war ended between Spain and Mexico. Mexico won there rights and freedom.
- In 1821, and alliance of the creole upper class, rebel leaders, and the clergy, which the clergy wanted equality for everyone which that’s when war happened and it last until September 27 the day of Mexico victory.
