  • Each and every Human Being has a right and duty to do certain things. Today I will tell you about about a few of these rights and duties
  • 1. RIGHT TO EQUALITY Right to Equality means that all individuals are equal before the law.For example, it ensures that all citizens are treated equally, no discrimination should me made on the grounds of sex, religion, race, caste, or place of birth, the practice of untouchability is abolished, etc.
  • 2. RIGHT TO FREEDOM The Indian Constitution guarantees six different types of freedom to all citizens, which are: Freedom of speech and expression, Freedom to assemble peacefully without weapons, Freedom to move freely anywhere in India, Freedom to form groups and associations, Freedom to reside and settle in any part of India, and Freedom to practice any lawful occupation or carry on any lawful business.
  • Now I will tell you about about a few of the duties we should follow as citizens of India.
  • It is our duty to safeguard and improve the natural environment as well as forests, lakes, rivers, and wildlife, and to have a compassion for living creatures
  • Another one of our duties as Indian citizens is to take effort towards excellence in all areas of individual and collective activity, so that India as a nation constantly grows at higher levels of achievements.
