On January 2nd, 1945, all Japanese held in internment camps were told they could return home.
On August 14th, 1945, the Japanese military surrendered to the United States, ending the war.
On June 27th, 1952, people from Japan were granted the right to become U.S. citizens. Though they faced discrimination for years to come, this was the end to a lot of problems resulting from the attack on Pearl Harbor.
