  • Macbeth… one day you will become thane of Cawdor, and soon king, and you Banquo, you will never be king but your kids will.
  • As they were going to explain, they vanished into thin air….
  • Explain what do you mean by me being thane of Cawdor.
  • The witches prophecy has come true, do you hope your children shall be kings?
  • *Macbeth ignores what Banquo has told him, and starts thinking of the possibility of him someday being king*
  • The king has made you thane of Cawdor since the former thane is to be executed for treason.
  • You know that devils often tell half-truths in order to win us to our harm.
  • Now that Duncan has made Malcom heir to the throne, he stands between me and the crown.
  • The thane of Cawdor has been executed. He died nobly, confessing freely and repented of his crimes.
  • Plans are that Duncan will go dine at Macbeth’s castle that evening.
  • My dear son, Malcom, you will be the heir to my throne.
  • As Lady Macbeth was reading the letter, Macbeth arrived and they started thinking of a plan for him to become king.
  • In order for me to become king Duncan has to die.
  • I will help you kill Duncan and be heir to the throne.
  • This castle is very pleasant, the air is sweet and appeals to my refined senses. Thank you for greeting me and for your hospitality!
  • It is my duty to be hospitable since we owe you so much.
  • We’ll be grieving loudly when we hear that Duncan has died.
  • I will exert every muscle in my body to commit this crime. Go now, and pretend to be a friendly hostess.
