- where them guys goin?
- For the rabbits!
- we'll have a cow. And we'll have maybe a pig and chickens- and down the flat we'll have a...little piece of alfalfa.
- And I get to tend the rabbits!
- And you get to tend the rabbits.
- Curley wants to kill Lennie for killing his wife. And Curley is looking for Lennie to kill him but George finds him before Lennie.
- It's over there. You keep lookin', Lennie. Just keep lookin'.
- George and Lennie are discussing their dream that they want to live in a ranch house on a large piece of land.
- I can see it, George. I can see it! Right over there! I can see it!
- Lennie makes George repeat what Lennie wants to do on the ranch and George does because he wants Lennie to be happy.
- George tells Lennie to look across the river to see their dream ranch together. And then explains that it will be peaceful and Lennie wont have to worry about anything over there.
- Lennie says that he sees the dream and George hears the other men coming closer in the distance.
- George shoots and kills Lennie before the others could come and kill Lennie themselves.
