George and Lennie are discussing their dream that they want to live in a ranch house on a large piece of land.
I can see it, George. I can see it! Right over there! I can see it!
Lennie makes George repeat what Lennie wants to do on the ranch and George does because he wants Lennie to be happy.
George tells Lennie to look across the river to see their dream ranch together. And then explains that it will be peaceful and Lennie wont have to worry about anything over there.
Lennie says that he sees the dream and George hears the other men coming closer in the distance.
George shoots and kills Lennie before the others could come and kill Lennie themselves.
