- Susan won first place in her race and won by a lot. Later she noticed that some swimmers' times were better than hers.She was very curious as to what was happening with the times recorded for the races.
- Susan and Stevie both thought about what was going on and noticed that J.P Scott had been betting on swimmers. Also, he made people lose. Could he have been changing times?
- By the the end of the book Susan wins! She is so happy to be welcomed to the Olympics that she is crying during the national anthem. Stevie finally found proof that J.P Scott was betting on the races. Later Stevie does go to court for fighting with a guy about the drug testing in the Olympics. It was incredible to believe that cheating was happening in the Olympics.
