  • Gosh, I am so thirsty today!
  • Tiddalick did it.
  • YUM!
  • BAHAHAHAHAHA
  • One very warm morning, the largest frog in the world, Tiddalick, woke up feeling very thirsty. So he decided to drink some of the freshwater. He drank and drank, and drank some more.
  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  • When the other animals arrived at the Billabong, they noticed that all of the water was gone and knew that it was because of Tiddalick. So they devised a plan, to make him laugh so that all the water would come spilling form his mouth.
  • ...And I said: I'm afraid for the calendar. Its days are numbered
  • The Echidna was the first to try and make Tiddalick laugh. She rolled herself into a ball and rolled down the bank of the Billabong, making the emu laugh, but not the large frog.
  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
  • The second to try was the wombat. He stood on his hind legs and danced around in a circle until he fell over in the dirt. The Galah laughed but the frog did not.
  • The kookaburra had an attempt at making Tiddalick laugh. She told him her funniest story. It was so funny that even she burst out laughing! But Tiddalick did not and continued to sit there with a belly full of water.
  • Finally, in a desperate attempt, the snake started to dance, wriggling and squirming all over the ground until eventually she was in a knot, and was unable to get untie herself. This let out a small chuckle form the large frog, that chuckle turned into a large laugh and the water came gushing out of his throat.
