- Most people hated him because he later on ignored the petition he had signed. He took advantage of his power and forced it on the people.
- Restoration of the Stuart monarchy
- The Civil War took place in the British Isles between supporters of the monarchy of Charles I and opposing groups in each of Charles kingdoms, including Parliamentarians in England. Charles I raised an army against the wishes of Parliament.
- Glorious Revolution
- Agreed.
- King Charles I was beheaded for treason on January 30, 1649. The Parliament was led by Oliver Cromwell.
- English Bill of Rights
- The Restoration of Stuart monarchy in the kingdoms of England, Scotland and Ireland took place in 1660 when King Charles II returned from exile in Europe. Charles restored in exchange for a promise of amnesty and religious toleration for his former enemies.
- The event ultimately changed how England governed, giving Parliament more power over the monarchy and planting seeds for the beginning of a political democracy. There was no bloodshed.
- The English Bill of Rights is an act that was passed on December, 16, 1689 by the Parliament. The Bill of Rights limited the power the king and queen had, it also gave the people power of England more rights.
