  • Mexican Calvary: Stand your ground, men!
  • America: American settlers, like other places, wanted to use the Mississippi river due to it being a good outlet for shipping goods around the world and retaining goods. Spain: Spain controlled this river, and wouldn't allow American Settlers to use it, fearing an attack on Spain from the U.S. But the port wasn't turning out to be as profitable as Spain had hoped, so they gave a Louisiana, the main port for shipping goods, to France.

  • Abraham Lincoln: There's no need to start a whole war with a country, especially now! we need to be smart about this!
  • James K. Polk: The Mexican Calvary attacked our troops! We must go to war and claim or land and fulfil our destiny!
  • Andrew Jackson: Andrew Jackson saw this as a win win. The American Indians would get their own enclosed land to grow and thrive, while American settlers could continue their Manifest destiny with them out of the way. He believed that he was helping the American Indians.Cherokee: The American Indians did not feel helped whatsoever. They were all forced out of their homes and escorted by the U.S. military to Oklahoma. This was a long journey for different tribes, like the Cherokee. 4,000 of these members died.

They weren't allowed to worship the way they wanted, So they rebelled and created the Texas Declaration of Independence, heavily inspired by the U.S D.O.I.Mexico: Texas was owned by Mexico at the time, meaning that Texas had to follow Mexico's laws and policy's But Texas resisted, and only obeyed Mexican laws when it was convenient for them, even when they swore to obey all laws. This was a sign of resistance and disrespect that Mexico was not going to tolerate.

  • James K. Polk: America wanted to expand south to acquire the lands around California that were owned by Mexico. This was to achieve Americas manifest destiny. But when American troops were ambushed, this gave America a reason to go to war.Mexico: After declining Americas offer to join the union, Mexico was deliberate on securing their boarders from America. But then American troops invaded their boarders, so they attacked an sparked the Mexican American war.

  • James K Polk: America's Manifest destiny was nearly complete, so James went forth to attempt at grabbing Oregon Country, the area including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and parts of Canada. This process showed that civil disagreements can be a thing. Bot sides wanted this lushes land, but came to a common ground.Great Britain: Great Britain may not have gotten Oregon county, leaving America one step away from achieving Manifest Destiny", but they earned Vancouver Island, and may have made decent peace with America.

  • George Armstrong Custer: Custer led a group of American troops to Montana to subdue a group of resistant American Indians. They refused to respect the wishes of the U.S. government and forge into small reservations, so Americas Manifest destiny could continue with them out of the way.Sitting Bull: Sitting bull, the leader of the Cheyenne, refused to give up their land. He was leading a moving village of ready soldiers to fight when ready. This was the only way they could insure to keep that land that was rightfully there's.
