- Caitlyn! So nice to see you! What eras are you working on in Tx History?
- Well John, I am working on the Spanish Colonial, Early Statehood, Civil War and Reconstruction, Great Depression and WWII, and Civil Rights and Conservatism. You see......
- I am a priest during in the Spanish Colonial era and during my time my people made the alamo to help american indians learn.
- After the Texas Revolution, Texas joined the US and became a state. Texas was a slave state because the US wanted to avoid another conflict. in 1845, Texas became the 28th state in the US.
- Texas was scared that their slaves would be taken away from them so they joined the Confederacy to keep their slaves. But they lost.
- When Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan, the US called war on Japan and Germany. At the end of a 5 year war, the NAZI surrendered and the US won.
- After World War Two, the civil rights movement started. And people like Martin Luther King Jr. made a famous speak and so did Helen Keller, but sadly not one country can say that they accomplished these rights.
