- Spain was the first country to populate the New World. Soon after, Britain came and colonized land that was stolen from the Natives. At this time, the Cherokee favored the British because of their treaty and trades.
- Spain is taking more of our land! Why can't they just take from what Britain already has?
- And the French are on their way!
- Meanwhile, the French were about to land near what is now Maine. They were unknowingly about to start a conflict with the British for taking their land. The only reason they couldn't move was because of the Natives' land. However, they moved anyway and allied with the Natives to claim a large chunk of westward land.

- Remember, so much land is still unclaimed. We must rush to claim it as soon as we dock!
- As the tensions between the French and British grew, there were also other problems arising. More and more of the British were coming to colonize, and there wasn't enough room for them, but they couldn't expand westward because of their treaty with the Natives. However, the British ended up making the French mad when they found out about the British wanting their land.
- YEAH!
- Our communities arebecoming too crowded! I say we break the treaty and take more land!
