- The Great Compromise was an agreement between the New Jersey plan and the Virginia plan. The outcome was that there would be to have 2 houses, House of Representatives based on the population of the state, and equal representation.
- The 3/5 Compromise was a compromise that was made up by the Southern and Northern points of view. They agreed that Congress would have the power to place tariffs on imports and control interstate and foreign trade. The National government would not interfere with the slave trade until 1808.
