- On March 5th 2017, the IT service company experienced a critical system failure because Vladmir did a DDoS attack on them because they fired him. This reduced the reputation of the company and cost them money to get people to fix the problem
- Guilty as chargedi sentence you to 3 and a half years of prison
- The polices's suspicions turned towards Yanpolsky, due to the fact that he had recently been fired and that the IP address linked to the hack matched his home's IP address
- Yanpolsky was then arrested on the 8th of May 2017,and released under investigation
- He was then subsequently charged on September 7th 2018 after pleading guilty and sentenced to three and a half years in prison under section 3(1) of the computer misuse act
