Storyboard Text

  • DAY 1: Kennedy is shown an image of missile sites in Cuba taken by a U2 spy plane.
  • DAY 3: Kennedy meets with the soviets hiding what he knows about the missiles in Cuba but states that if he finds out that they are hiding missiles in Cuba there will be gravest consequences.
  • DAY 7: Kennedy informs the country about what he knows and that there will be great consequences if the soviets don't stop.
  • DAY 8: Kennedy informs the United Nations on the situation. The soviets threaten the naval quarantine by moving submarines into the Caribbean area.
  • DAY 10: Kennedy sends another letter to Khrushchev arguing about the situation as he knows that some missiles are now operational.
  • DAY 12: Robert Kennedy met up with the Soviet Ambassador to come to an agreement to remove all missiles from Cuba and for the US not to invade Cuba.
