- Many people didn't like the British soldiers living in their cities and towns. Soldiers were also very loud and rude.
- Us soldiers are very loud and rude

- British Soldiers worked far away from home. They left their wives, children and family.
- Haha! Lobsterback!
- The relationship between the colonists and the soldiers worsened, name calling such as "lobsterback" and fights were common.

- One late cold night a British solider was guarding, then a crowd surrounded him and starting throwing rocks, snowballs and offending him.
- Get out of out of our town!
- Soldiers heard the commotion and rushed over with their captain Thomas Preston to the soldier's defense then, they start loading their muskets a type of gun.
- DON'T DISRESPECT A SOLIDER!
- The people of the town still kept on throwing rocks, snowballs and calling them offensive names.
